Discography Project

One of the key parts of staying organized in putting this book together is having an understanding of who released what music and when. Using Discogs, Allmusic, Amazon, Cringe, record label websites and some others, I've put together a Google spreadsheet attempting to keep chronological order. I did build in some basic criteria:

1. Bands that self-released (i.e. not on a label or on a label they made up) are not included, unless members of that band were in other bands, or as a solo artist, they released material on a label not their own. Basically, if I try to list every obscure band demo cassette over the last forty years, this project will never end.

2. Promo releases that are just tracks off an album are not included.

3. Digital-only releases are not included.

You can access the Google spreadsheet here and comment if there are inaccuracies, releases missing or other important information.
